A Lamoni native and 2021 graduate of Lamoni High School, Cray is also a volunteer with the Lamoni Fire Department and a very busy Criminal Justice major at Graceland University. The 11th annual Bethany's Race was held on May 6th. 49 participants turned out in spite of the rain and hail that came about an hour before the race. Bethany Gruich was a beloved member of the community who was diagnosed with glioblastoma (a rare brain cancer) in October of 2012, just shy of her 16th birthday.
